Computerworld Denmark Covering Keepit’s Explosive Growth
Danish Backup Vendor Keepit Experiencing Strong Growth: From 100 to 250 employees in one year
Backed up by a major investment, Danish Keepit, led by director Frederik Schouboe, has doubled its staff in just one year. At the same time, greater progress has been made in geographies such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, and (not least) the United States, where a new team of 23 employees has been established.
Keepit has hired new employees like never before. Over the last 12 months, the staff has grown from 100 to 250 employees. The key to this recruitment offensive was a capital injection of DKK 190 million, which the company received in October 2020 from One Peak Partners.
US Will Be the Biggest Market
A specific growth area is the US market. Keepit has hired 23 new employees in USA - primarily into sales and marketing roles. The American market has the biggest potential, and Keepit has already planned an upcoming datacenter in Canada to up support to costumers with data placed on North American soil.
