The ROI of ransomware recovery: Webinar key takeaways

Did you know that there’s a concerning gap when it comes to organizations’ disaster recovery plans for SaaS platforms?

Speaking on our recent webinar, Forrester senior analyst Brent Ellis said: “[Out of 2000 enterprise software decision makers], 87% said they’re either currently using a SaaS application, or they plan to in the next 12 months. But [in a separate survey when I asked disaster recovery professionals] if SaaS platforms are within the scope of their organization’s disaster recovery planning, only 36% had a wholehearted yes. And when I asked does your organization currently backup your SaaS hosted data? 14% said no. And if you’re talking about disaster recovery planning and 14% don’t do backup of that data, that leaves a big question mark about whether you’re actually able to recover from a particular disaster to that platform.”

These numbers clearly show that only a small percentage of organizations is fully prepared for the scenario of a cyberattack and can ensure business continuity if their SaaS platforms are affected.

To hear more about these findings, watch our on-demand webinar, The ROI of ransomware recovery.

In this webinar, Brent Ellis, Forrester Senior Analyst, Elia Gollini, Forrester Associate Consultant, and Paul Robichaux, Microsoft MVP and Senior Director of Product at Keepit, dive into the current state of ransomware preparedness and discuss practical strategies to improve DR plans as well as the ROI companies can realize when deploying Keepit for ransomware recovery.
