Create an Autodesk Forma connector

Before you begin, make sure you have:

Hub Admin access in your Autodesk Forma instance.
Autodesk Platform Services (APS) activated on your Autodesk account. To acquire it, see Autodesk Platform Services on the Autodesk website.

2. Go to Developer Hubs, then select Applications.

3. Select Create application.

4. Select Traditional Web App as the application type, then enter a name for the application.

5. Note the Client ID and Client Secret shown in the Client Credentials section. You need both in Parts 2 and 3.

6. In General Settings, add the following callback URL:
https://{server}.keepit.com/desktop/oauth

7. Under API Access, add permissions for the following APIs:

1. Sign in to your Autodesk Forma instance.

2. Go to Hub Admin > Custom Integrations.

3. Select Add custom integration. A dialog appears.

4. In the Autodesk Platform Services Client ID field, enter the Client ID from Part 1, step 5.

5. Enter a name for the integration in the Name field.

6. (Optional) Enter a description in the Description field.

7. Note the Hub ID shown in the dialog. You need it in Part 3. Then select Next.

8. In the confirmation dialog, select Proceed anyway.

Note: If you didn't save the Hub ID in step 7, you can find it under Hub Admin > Settings in your Autodesk Forma instance.

1. Sign in to the Keepit platform.

2. In the left navigation, select Connectors.

3. Select Add connector. A list of available connectors appears.

4. Select Autodesk Forma. A dialog appears.

5. Enter the following:

7. Review the permissions that Keepit requests, then select the option to grant access. Keepit redirects you back to the platform.

8. Enter a name for your connector, then select Create.

Keepit will now start the initial backup of your Autodesk Forma data.
